Today we’re excited to announce a major upgrade to one of our most popular features: the Offline Threat Intelligence Database is now officially available to all FraudGuard Business Plan customers.

Previously reserved for Enterprise users, the Offline Database has become one of our most widely used tools — empowering security teams, SOC analysts, and engineering organizations to run FraudGuard’s ACE threat insights locally with zero latency, zero API overhead, and zero external dependencies. The demand has been incredible, and the feedback has been even better.

Because of this success and because we genuinely appreciate the customers who support FraudGuard every day — we’re expanding access at a lower price.

What’s Changing Today

Effective immediately:

  • Business Plan customers can now download the Offline Threat Database in both SQLite and CSV formats at no additional cost.
  • Enterprise Plan customers continue to enjoy access, with even more frequent update intervals.

Why We’re Making This Change

FraudGuard now processes hundreds of millions of API calls per day across our global infrastructure. While scaling to meet that demand is part of our mission, encouraging broader usage of the Offline Database helps:

  • Reduce inbound API load
  • Improve system-wide performance
  • Enable faster local threat decisions
  • Support air-gapped and high-throughput environments
  • Give customers more flexibility in how they consume ACE data

It’s a rare win-win: customers get even more capability, and our infrastructure gets lighter, faster, and stronger.

Update Frequencies

To align with the needs of different customer tiers:

  • Business Plan: Offline Database updates are provided daily
  • Enterprise Plan: Offline Database updates refresh hourly for maximum freshness and threat responsiveness

Both formats — SQLite and CSV — are included for every plan that supports Offline Database access.
